Why am I drawn to you by a force greater than science itself

Raised up high to somewhere where I cannot reach

I’m underwater screaming for help because you’re taking me

But astonishingly that help turns out to be you saving me

You did not come to get me, shielded by metal gear riding in on a white steed

What I saw you in was a military uniform marked by the marines

You slowly walked up, with hands in each pocket, while I gasped and flailed in blind desperation

He saw then whispered in my ear

“No need to fight it because I’ll be here to save you in every lifetime, every reincarnation”

But the things is he didn’t say a word

The look they gave was all I wanted or all I needed to see

Why does a greater force than that of a human being have you tethered to the depths of my soul

The place where the key to pandora’s box is my inhale where no one can go

Except.. you?

Why that one?

Not that they’re horrible, they’re amazing

What I’ve really been pondering is how this could work when like forces repel

This is a scenario conjured within the depths of hell itself

We’re pulling on one rope connected to both our necks on both ends

Taking each of our breaths away

Only to bring it back again

Why am I tethered to your essence

We’re intertwined just like years before in this reincarnation but you haven’t woken up yet

Here I am sitting

Your bound brunette

At the end of the steps waiting for hours

Which are minutes for you I guess

Why did we have to be tied at the strings during this transfiguration

Feeling like pulled puppets in a defantasized dreamworld

Why am I tethered to a Sleeping Beauty that doesn’t wake up

Wake up

Life without you awake is the life of an oyster depearled

The things is though that I love being tethered

Just not alone

It feels like I am royalty dethroned, disowned, unknown to this reality

Please wake up and come join me

Your bound brunette

On the step she refuses to leave until us two are rushing currents once again in the sea far after sunset
