My love
You are the only one I will love truly and deeply
The words, the lessons, the care you’ve painted on the blue flower within me
I am a remake of your essence with subtle question marks
Unsure
I am unsure but you are undeniable
But I am on a road to this life and you have strapped me in the passenger seat as the driver
You ask me where I’ll be going this evening but the truth is I have no idea
Just take me somewhere livelier
Somewhere I am unquestionably understood
You painted on this flower within me with the embrace I feel from you and the heart beat that sinks within me
In these moments we are one
Please take me somewhere where I can be seen just as undeniably, beautifully, harmonious as I see you
Just let me ride with you
Take me on your back like old times and let’s dash across the daffodils
Let us roam around the mountains we find in life only to climb them and watch the clouds float across the sky upon the hills
Or simply sit in the two front seats of a taxi cab
Continuously asking where to go with an answer that neither of us really have
Or celebrate Halloween as you take video of me dressed as your baby fairy queen
Happy Halloween I repeated after the words you said with my upward head
Or sometimes find ourselves laid across your bed comfortably watching an old movie that’s been a while since either of us have seen
Sometimes it seems like something out of a dream but then I feel you
I feel the moment
Which is rare for me
The music notes in the air and the sound of our exhales in unison you see
Or maybe even the silent buzz of a bumblebee that drives me crazy but only has you concerned about my safety
We forever sit in an empty taxi cab with the seats drawn back and the sky gone black
Listening to all our beloved soundtracks
To the one who’s painted on the sky blue flower within me
The one with mere access to the first of my skeleton keys
Hidden to all and any other
To my joker, my jewel, my joy, my love
My mother
