Have you ever sat up in bed, late at night, and listened to the jingling of stars in your ears?
Have you heard the crickets play sob songs on violin strings with their tiny legs rubbing against one another? Maybe you've heard the croaks of distant bullfrogs that
rumble against your eardrums, that make them vibrate inconsistently.
The silent whoosh of passerby cars and trucks that you can't hear if you're not trying to. The pitter-patter of small, animal feet rustling along the autumn leaves in no kind of consistent pattern.
Or even the song sung by the neighbor's hung wind chimes dangling from the ceiling of their porch.
Do you see the flashlight shining through your window, which is only the moon investigating your room; striking lines of white across your face in random patterns?
Well, if you haven't..... you should.
The night is always beautiful.
